Editorial & Corrections Policy
Last Updated: July 22, 2026
1. Mission & Standards
TokenWeir is committed to publishing accurate, fair, and insightful cryptocurrency news and educational content. Our editorial team adheres to high standards of integrity, transparency, and independence.
We clearly distinguish between:
- News & Analysis: Fact‑based reporting with expert commentary.
- Opinion / Editorials: Clearly marked as “Opinion” or “Analysis” and reflect the author’s views.
- Sponsored Content: Always labelled “Sponsored” or “Advertisement”.
2. Sources & Fact‑Checking
All factual claims in our articles are verified using reliable primary and secondary sources. We prioritize on‑chain data, official project announcements, reputable news agencies, and direct interviews. Anonymous sources are used sparingly and only when essential, and their credibility is rigorously assessed.
3. Corrections Policy
We strive for accuracy, but errors can occur. If we discover a mistake:
- Minor typos and formatting errors are corrected without notice.
- Substantive errors that change the meaning of a piece will be corrected promptly, and a note will be added at the end of the article explaining what was changed and when.
- Major factual errors will be corrected and may be accompanied by an editor’s note at the top of the article.
How to report an error: Email corrections@tokenweir.blog with the article URL and a description of the error. We review all submissions and aim to respond within 48 hours.
4. Review & Updates
Our editorial team regularly reviews evergreen content to ensure it remains accurate and up‑to‑date. Articles that have been significantly updated will display a “Last Updated” date.
5. Independence & Conflicts of Interest
TokenWeir maintains editorial independence. Our journalists and contributors are required to disclose any potential conflicts of interest (e.g., holding significant positions in cryptocurrencies discussed). Authors do not receive compensation from external companies for coverage, and sponsored content is never presented as impartial news.
